Just posted an interesting article over at moblogging.org.
It's regarding the use of moblogging in events such as the recent peace marches. It's a great idea and an ideal application for an open, self promoting technology such as moblogging.
Hopefully it will spark some interesting discussion.
Slowly getting more and more excitied about my trip to Japan and the 1st International Moblogging conference.
I'll be updating moblogging.org with conference information and pictures on the day. Go there first for any moblogging updates.
I'm also taking part in a real-time 24 hour photo diary at media-diary.net, on the day before the conference (Fri 4th July). The site is currently only a mock-up, but have a look on the day for copious amounts of pictures of me lost and confused in Tokyo.
If I get the time, I'll upload some camera-phone and SLR pictures and blog here too. But otherwise things may be slow here for a bit.
(Before I go, I may also get time to re-write this page and improve the dire loading time too. But probably not)
Mobile blogging ('MoBlogging') is essentially the ability to update blogs while on the move.
It's nothing new, just a collection of technologies bought together to enhance a popular and proven web-publishing technique. However, it gets much more exciting when you throw the new breed of GPRS, 3G and CDMA camera equipped phones into the fray.
After painstakingly trawling the internerweb last week for software to get my mobile camera pictures online, I decided to gather together all the resources and information regarding moblogging in one place.
For all 7 of you out there who are also interested.
